The HR Consultant will provide leadership, consultation and guidance to customers regarding development-related issues; assess customer training and/or development needs and meet needs by delivering training or identifying appropriate resources; develop and conduct standard presentations/training classes; develop and conduct team building and facilitated retreats/meetings; coordinate and facilitate process redesign and mapping; monitor and evaluate training/consulting outcomes; provide data analysis of developmental initiatives and outcomes; assist in the development of succession planning; assist in the development of leadership and other custom curriculum; provide feedback and interpretation to customers in the survey and profiling process. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related and three years directly related exempt level experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. In addition, preference will be given to candidates for the following: 1. Has managed a staff. 2. Public speaking skills. 3. Facilitation skills. 4. Has developed and delivered Leadership Training Programs. 5. Has worked with Employee Surveys and other Individual Assessments (like Birkman). 6. Has developed or worked with Diversity Programs and Processes. 7. Needs assessment. 8. Consulting with clients. 9. Able to travel to locations throughout the State.
