Provide human resources support to this Southwest Facility Management Company's core business and client customers.
Work closely with all profit centers and present concerns to supervisors as needed.
Develop, distribute and maintain Employee Benefit packages and Employee Handbook. Ensure completion of new employee packets and maintain employee files.
Administers appropriate client company pre-employment screening and background checks.
Maintain personnel timesheets and PTO files (making corrections as needed.)
Update/Track Employee time off – enter PTO requests into the payroll spreadsheet for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees of PM clients. Maintains time punch exception report for each department and entire company. Reports all early and late punches (in excess of ten minutes).
Processes and distributes payroll. •Ensures payroll time reports have been appropriately approved by supervisors and accurately reported to Payroll Company.
Serves as in-house HR contact for recruiting, HR services, Workers’ Compensation and payroll.
Ensure Client Company COBRA and Workers’ Compensation compliance for eligible employees.
Ensures timely filing and organization of all active and inactive HR files
Responsible for all confidential typing and administrative filing.
Associates Degree or higher with major in related field; and two to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Payroll (ADP preferred) and benefits administration is required.
